The main navigation areas of your wiki are the primary ways your members and visitors get around your wiki. There are four : the top menu bar (or nav:top), the side menu bar (or nav:side), breadcrumbs, and search.
Top Menu Bar - nav:top

The top menu bar is located at the top of your wiki page, at the lower part of the header area. It is sometimes called nav:top because the source page for nav:top is located at http://yourwiki.wikidot.com/nav:top.

Side Menu - nav:side

The side menu is located at the side of your wiki page. usually at the left. It is sometimes called nav:side because the source page for nav:side is located at http://yourwiki.wikicomplete.info/nav:side.
Breadcrumbs
Breadcrumbs are located at the top of your wiki page, just under the page title. Breadcrumb navigation automatically shows the parent-child relationship of pages. Therefore, breadcrumbs will only be seen is the page is a child of a parent page.
Search
(Main article: search)
Visitors will use your search as initial navigation to save time (if the search box is immediately visible) or as a last resort before they leave your wiki. A search box can be placed anywhere on a page using the Search module.
SiteMap
A sitemap can be added to a page using the PageTree Module.
