Internal links can be placed on each page. These links lead from one page to another.

Backlinks
Backlinks are a list of pages that link back to the page you are reading.
Linking to Outside Pages
[http://www.beer.com Beer!] - creates a link
[*http://www.beer.com Beer!] - creates a link that opens a new window when clicked
Link Color
(Main article: link color)
The color of links is determined by CSS in the theme your wiki uses. To change the link color you will have to create a custom theme based on the theme you are currently using. There are (at least) two different colors of links : default link color and new page link color.
Interwiki Linking
Interwiki linking is not yet supported by wikidot 1.0. Interwiki linking has been added to wikicomplete.info. It has been confirmed for wikidot 2.0.
The wiki syntax below creates an interwiki link to a wikis start page [[[game-design::start]]].
Auto-Linking
Wikidot does not yet have the ability to autolink pages. This feature is considered low priority by us and has not been confirmed for wikidot 2.0. It is likely not to be a feature.
Random Page Link
Wikidot does not currently have a random page link or system page. This is common in most wiki software and is known to be highly requested.
