Marvel Studios has taught its fans to always anticipate what the MCU launches next, so some fans must already be wondering where Moon Knight fits into the MCU in general – even still weeks before the character’s miniseries debut. on Disney+.
“The honest answer is I don’t know,” Slater told Total Film (via Games Radar). “Because [Kevin Feige] is the guy who decides all of this. Look, if it were up to me, he’d be part of the Avengers. It’s definitely not mine, but I think that’s the point!”
Marvel Studios currently has no confirmed movies or TV series for Phase 4 after Jon Watts’ untitled “Fantastic 4” movie and Disney+ series “Armor Wars,” “Ironheart,” as well as an as-yet-untitled Wakanda . centered project and the fourth Captain America movie (via MCU Wiki). A “Blade” reboot starring Mahershala Ali also remains in development, though it’s unclear if the film is destined for Phase 4 or Phase 5 of the MCU (via None of These Projects Has Released Yet). release date, so it’s particularly unclear when and if the studio will make a new “Avengers” sequel, which would take center stage in a future slate of films.
In 2019, Feige confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and Ms. Marvel would appear in films after their miniseries was introduced, so it seems likely that Moon Knight will find its way to theaters sooner rather than later.
