Your wiki's identity is important. Establishing a proper wiki identity helps your visitors know what your wiki is about at a glance and distinguishes your wiki from all the other hundreds of thousands of websites on the internet.
Logo

The logo of your wiki is the first thing that catches the eye of your visitors and helps establish a unique wiki identity.
Favicon
A favicon is the small icon that appears next to your wiki's url in a users favorites (assuming they have bookmarked you). All wikidot wikis have the same favicon by default. Unfortunately, there is no way known to change the favicon for your wiki and it is suspected there is no way at all to accomplish this. It is known to be a highly requested feature and it is not known if this feature is in development.
Themes

The theme you use determines the look of your wikidot wiki. Themes are composed solely of CSS and images referenced by CSS. Wikidot has several pre-made themes you can use and modify, or, if you want a completely unique look for your wiki, you can create your own almost completely from scratch.
Custom Domain

Wikidot wikis can have a wikidot url (subdomain) such as yourwiki.wikidot.com or they can have their own custom domain, such as www.yourwiki.com. Custom domains are not available at wikicomplete.info .
