  • Healing in Outriders is primarily accomplished by aggressively using the abilities of your chosen classes. Each class can gain health in different ways that also suit their playstyle. It is important to understand how your character heals, as is knowing that just hiding behind shelter and taking careful photos does not. will not always do the job.
    • Devastators gain health by killing enemies at close range, just like Tricksters
    • Technomancers have the best leech in life. It is therefore preferable to stay in the background most of the time.
  • Once you’ve completed the prologue for the first time, you’ll be able to skip a lot of it when you start new characters. This means you can easily walk into a new class and start learning their skills, which can be helpful if you decide you’d rather try a different class after you’ve made your initial choice.

  • The difficulty in Outriders is largely influenced by the world level. As you level up and explore you will unlock additional world levels starting from the level 0 you have at the start. Each consecutive world level will offer better chances of rewards, but more difficult enemies. If you’re having trouble, check your current world level to see if things can be lowered – and if you’re not lucky enough to find some good loot, level up!
  • You can enjoy all Outriders solo, but be aware that drop-in co-op is also available for teams of 3 to complete more difficult challenges.
  • Outriders includes the ability to use Cross-Play, allowing you to play with other people on different consoles. Once activated in the settings menu, you can request a cross-play game code to share with friends on other platforms so that they can join your team by selecting the option to Join a game using a code, then using the game code provided.

  • Some side quests will reward you with in-game consequences, like opening a new merchant with a permanent discount. You can also replay these side missions as much as you want, which can be a great way to earn XP fast.

  • Each class has fast reload capabilities, often with cooldowns of less than 20 seconds. Use them as often as possible, as they will come in handy for dealing big damage, controlling groups of enemies, healing and more!
  • Look for enemies that will try to throw grenades from behind. If you can shoot them quickly while they are standing, you can make them drop their grenade and explode.

  • All classes can use any type of weapon you find, but be sure to look at skills that your class can take advantage of, as some can enhance certain types of close range or support style weapons.
  • Each class has three main skill trees that change your playstyle slightly. Take the time to see which one has the skills that reflect what you like to do best, and note where you can double dive into other trees to acquire some. additional skills along the way

  • You’ll earn 20 Class Points to put in your skill tree, so you won’t be able to choose everything at once. However, you can always reallocate your class points for free, so feel free to experiment!
  • Unless you’re the team’s dedicated sniper, you don’t stay in one place for too long – and even then, it’s a good idea to keep moving. While cover is definitely mandatory, especially when playing one of the spongier classes like the Trickster or the Technomancer, enemies won’t waste time flanking you, rushing you, or throwing grenades for you. get out of your blanket.

  • There is a handy setting in the options menu that lets you select the rarity of the gear you collect automatically if you don’t want common gear flooding your inventory.
  • At first, it’s better to take your Common (White) and Uncommon (Green) gear apart instead of selling it, as this gives you more resources like Iron and Leather. Once you’ve unlocked the crafting, be sure to disassemble your blue gear as well, as this will unlock mods for your mod library, a fundamental part of late-game crafting.
  • Remember to visit the World Tier and Accolades menus every now and then to claim rewards when you complete new milestones. These rewards can give you resources, currency, and gear, as well as exclusive customization items such as emotes, truck and flag customization options.

  • When fighting altered enemies, knowing how to interrupt their special attacks is extremely important. Look for their yellow throw bar and cast one of your interrupt skills – you can hover over your abilities in the Skills menu to check which ones have the Interrupt property.

  • Some boss abilities will be too quick to interrupt unless you’re lucky, so keep an eye out for when they plan to heal as these abilities tend to have a longer cast time.
  • If you’ve unlocked multiple Interrupt skills, do your best to alternate them, as Altered enemies will adapt and become resistant to your Interruptions if you use them too frequently.
  • Once you reach World Level 4, you will have a chance to get a Legendary Drop, either from a Loot Chest found in the world, or from a Weathered Captain or Boss. Keep an eye out!
