How to Start the Arataki Drumalong Event

The Drumalong event quest unlocks automatically once you:
Travel to Ritou and follow the quest prompt to start a brief cutscene, then travel to Amakane Island off the west coast of Inazuma City and do the same again. You find Arataki Itto and his gang near the shore north of the festival area. Speak with them to acquire your drum and start the show.
How to drum and drum tips
You have three options for drumming during the event. The first is to attack the event challenges, which unlock each day. You can also edit the beatmap and add new notes to each song, and you can play beatmaps that others have created.
The event tutorial teaches you how to adjust the drum hit offset to suit your current setup, as well as how to place notes.

If you want to drop in new notes and hits without too much detail, you can use the basic editor, but if you want more control over the placement of notes relative to the rhythm line and timing, the advanced beat map is for you. .
We recommend that you start on normal mode and familiarize yourself with the song a few times before trying it on higher difficulty levels. It may also be easier to play with a controller. The keyboard controls use ASD and JKL, and the placement is rather hard to get used to initially.
Drumalong beatmap sharing code
You can share your edited beatmaps with other players, although there are a few steps to follow before getting your code.
After editing and saving your beatmap, you must complete it yourself on the higher difficulty levels. After you get your code, you can publish it for others to play.
Alternatively, you can paste a beatmap code into your game under the “Find Comp” menu and play someone else’s creation.
