Local Organizations Host Jefferson County Career Fair

This event will take place at Ivy Tech – Madison Campus

The Jefferson County Career Fair returns in 2022. Taking place over three days in April, the career fair will be held at the Corporate Conference Center at the Ivy Tech Community College campus in Madison, hosted by Ivy Tech, WorkOne Southeast, River Valley Resources and Hannover. University.

The program of events for each day will be the same: the Job Fair will open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., a “Lunch and Learn” session will take place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. where interested parties can learn more about the organizations hosting the fair, and then the job fair will reopen from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

On April 7, the Career Fair will target job seekers and employers in the industrial, manufacturing, trucking and construction sectors. The April 14 job fair will focus on businesses, nonprofits and mental health organizations. And the April 21st session of the job fair will be for the health sector, including nursing, premedicine and health sciences.

The Jefferson County Career Fair is open to citizens of Jefferson County and surrounding areas, whether you are unemployed, looking to change careers, or currently a student at Ivy Tech, Hanover College, or IU East . Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes to the job fair and come prepared to network with employers.
