Kit Harington’s Dane Whitman Almost Made An Appearance In Marvel’s Moon Knight

One of the most recent entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe ever-expanding list, Eternals, garnered mixed reviews from critics, but was overall appreciated by audiences. the film featured two famous The iron Throne stars, Kit Harington and Richard Madden, who starred Danish Whitman and Icaris respectively. While Madden’s Ikaris was seen soaking up the hot sun directly on the surface of the sun and likely dying of extreme guilt for his actions, Harington’s Whitman is still alive and kicking. However, not much is known about the path he’ll take in the future of the MCU, and neither is Kit Harington. What we do know is that there was a chance his character would make an appearance in another Marvel project, the Moon Knight.

In a recent interview with Comicbook, the series’ head writer Jeremy Slater revealed that Harington’s Dane Whitman, also known as Black Knight, nearly appeared in the Disney+ series. He said, “We talked a bit about Dane Whitman just because he works at a history museum and that might be a natural interaction. My feeling was if we brought in Kit Harington and he doesn’t dress up and kick ass, as a fan, I’m pissed.

He continued, “There was no room in those first two episodes for him to dress up and play Black Knight in the script, so we ultimately decided it didn’t make sense to make that connection. is something we definitely talked about a few days in the room.

Do you think Marvel made the right choice by not including the Black Knight in the Moon Knight series? Tell us in the comments below!
