Genshin 3.0 Characters
So far, two new playable characters have arrived in the first phase of 3.0.
A new additional character, Dori (who holds an Electro Vision), will arrive with the second banner phase.
Many new NPCs were also introduced with the Sumeru storyline, including Al Haitham, Nilou, Nahida, and Dehya.
Genshin Impact 3.0 Banners
Genshin Impact 3.0 ran two double-wish banners, with two five-star characters in each half of the update. The first half features Tighnari, the archer Dendro, and another replay of Zhongli, with Collei, a four-star archer Dendro, appearing on both banners.
The second half of the update includes replays of Ganyu and Kokomi, and new four-star electro character Dori will also appear on both.
As for weapons, Tighnari’s signature bow, Hunter’s Path, headlines the epitome Summoning of 3.0. The update also introduces a new fish-themed bow and a set of craftable Sumeru weapons.
Genshin Impact 3.0 Sumeru
3.0 introduces the Sumeru region, a whole new area to explore. Once you figure out how to get to Sumeru, you can use the Four Leaf Seals to get around, looking for Dendroculus locations and Sumeru Deep Sanctuary. You will also face Withering Zones and Decay.
Additionally, there is an important world quest that begins with Woodland Encounter – Aranyaka: Part I.
Genshin Impact 3.0 Archon Quests and Story
Sumeru’s story centers around competing factions in the city of Sumeru. The Akademiya faction wants to maintain its control of knowledge in the region and beyond and diminish the role of the Archon, the Little Lord Kusanali.

Tighnari’s own story quest, Vulpes Zerda, also delves deeper into his role as a ranger and the mysteries of the forest.
The Dendro Element
Dendro finally makes his debut in Genshin Impact 3.0, with a set of unique new reactions that go beyond the usual two-element formulas.
See our detailed information Dendro’s Guide for everything you need to know about planning your party around the new element.
Genshin Impact 3.0 Events
Genshin Impact 3.0 features several events including Battle Trials, Dendro Tutorials, and the chance to get a brand new Seelie Pet.
This is the update’s flagship event, tasking you with inspiring the toymakers of Port Ormos by collecting images and experiencing battles throughout the region. There are plenty of rewards up for grabs, but you can also invite Collei for free just by participating.

Fayz Trials is Genshin 3.0’s main battle event. Use a special potion to stop time and inflict incredible damage on a group of trial characters for a chance to win Primogems and more. Head over to the Fayz Trials guide page for more details.
Tablet Analytics is another battle event featuring trial characters, but this time you have less control over the battle situation. Enjoy random buffs and clear challenges of increasing difficulty for a chance to earn Primogems and ascension materials. Our Tablet Analytics guide has everything you need to know about this event.
Lost Riches 3.0
Lost Riches is back, and just like its previous versions, your goal is to find ancient artifacts and exchange them for more practical treasures – including a new green Seelie pet! Keep an eye on our Lost Riches guide for more updates once the event goes live.
Genshin Impact 3.0 Boss
The first Sumeru patch also includes two new bosses: the Jadeplume Terrorshroom and Electro Regisvine. Both drop items essential to Sumeru’s character ascension, so plan to incorporate them into your battle routine if you find yourself with Tighnari, Collei, or Dori in your party.
