Each wikidot wiki can have it's own forum. Wikidot forums do not use bbcode, instead they use wiki syntax.
Set Up a Forum
Forums are not activated by default — you have to activate yours using your Site Manager.
To use the Comments Module or Per-Page Discussion, the forum needs to activated first.
Starting a Forum
If you are building a community as well as a wiki, getting your forum started is important. Your wiki forum will be used by your members as the primary method of communicating.
Starting Activity
The first rule of all forums is :
- Members will not post unless there is already forum activity.
This means that you need to make as much as an effort as possible to post interesting topics in your forum, even if you expect no one to reply.
The second rule of of all forums is :
- Members will not join a small, mostly inactive forum.
To get out of this Catch-22, PM hartnell and he will help you get your forum started.
