Farm Me raises $3.9 million with INO and fundraising efforts with funders Near and Huobi

TORONTO, April 4, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Shut me upthe fantastic metaverse experience, announces the successful fundraising of a total of $3.9 million aided by reputable backers NEAR, HUOBI and strategic partners, in addition to a first NFT offer campaign (INO).

Funds raised will be used to further expand the game’s ecosystem and pave the way for other non-fungible token (NFT) games to join the metaverse.

The first few weeks of April will also see more updates to the Android versions of Farm Me, and players can expect a new forest map to be added to the game.

Since Farm Me first launched its Alpha version in December 2021, the game went through several milestones as the development team focused on improving the gameplay. 60,000 registrants helped test the game throughout the two Alpha and four Beta stages, leading to the sale of over 6,900 NFT boxes during the pre-INO and INO period in February and March 2022.

The launch of the full game on March 15 attracted more than 6,800 players in the first week before the launch of the project’s IoT. $NEAR tokens from the NEAR FOUNDATION GRANT PROGRAM will be used to reward players, and the buzz around Farm Me is evident, with high traffic through social media and the game’s official website.
