The developers behind the Crysis series, Crytek, have officially announced the development of Crysis 4 with a teaser trailer.
It’s been nine years since Crysis 3 was released, but luckily fans were able to relive the experience recently thanks to the Crysis Remastered Trilogy, which released in 2021.
The Crysis franchise has always been known for pushing the bar when it comes to graphics, mechanics, and overall innovation in game development. Now, in 2022, the developers have teased a fourth game, getting fans excited for a new next-gen experience.
A lot has changed since the release of Crysis. Games back then were extremely impressive and set a benchmark for how powerful a PC was with the phrase “can it run Crysis?”

What platforms will Crysis 4 be available on?

Along with the blog post, Crytek also released a teaser for the game. The trailer is just an announcement for the working title, but fans of the original games will still be excited for its release and further development.
The trailer features some pretty impressive visuals, with the iconic Crysis helmet visible for a short second as rubble begins to fall and cover it.
Hopefully these visuals will translate to the game, as the video is definitely visually pleasing and high quality.
