First steps in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin
SOPFFO is a fairly linear game, meaning players don’t have to worry too much about how to start – other than deciding which working path to follow first. Players will want to select two complementary jobs to explore in the early game that will lead to the advanced jobs they want to use for the mid and late game. To find out which advanced job a starting job leads to, simply scroll down the tree talents from each task to the bottom and see which advanced tasks are in the bottom row.
Players should definitely take the time to familiarize themselves with the game’s parry, block, Soul Shield, and Break Gauge mechanics before trying to go too far. There will be a combat tutorial in a beautiful wheat field very early in the game that breaks down these basic concepts. To practice them further, players can always return to the mission tagged ??? on the world map.
