Battlefield 2042 is here and it looks like it will be the anchor of the series in this generation of consoles, at least for the foreseeable future. Not only does it bring new game modes such as Hazard Zone, and takes place in a new setting in the near future with powerful nopat specialists, but it also has a custom game mode known as Portal where players can mix and match maps, game modes, and weapons from past Battlefield games together to create unique and silly game modes.
This will have to be enough because it will be the first Battlefield game in a few years that does not feature any kind of story mode. All modes of the game will be competitive multiplayer. That said, you can host matches against the AI if you’re a little nervous about jumping straight into the chaos.
This Battlefield 2042 will help get your feet wet as you begin your brilliant and promising new career as a Nopat mercenary fighting a hopeless war in a dying world. We’ll cover the basics, general game information, and some mode-specific guides.
