Arataki Itto Skills

In combat, Arataki Itto is a heavy damage dealer who takes on the role of Main DPS. Arataki Itto wields a claymore as his preferred weapon choice and summons his friends to aid him in battle. He is also one of the few characters that does not reset his normal attack chains when dashing or using his elemental skill.

Arataki Itto’s fourth ascension passive increases his charged attack damage and elemental burst proportional to his DEF.

The recommended priorities for talent ascension are:

  • Normal attack and elemental explosion
  • Elemental skill

As for the constellations, Arataki Itto is already a great character in C0. It has very high damage output, often leaving the rest of the other Geo Main DPS in the dust. However, his C1, C4 and C6 will make him an even better character.

Best Team Arataki Itto

Best Team Compositions Arataki Itto

Arataki Itto is a popular choice in Geo teams, especially if they include Gorou or Zhongli. Gorou’s skills provide Geo buffs for the party, and Itto’s Ushi Bull counts as a Geo build that resonates with Zhongli’s skills. Geo teams are a safe bet for most situations because they don’t have any particular elemental weaknesses – but they don’t have any elemental strengths either.

If you’re not interested in the Geo team, you can opt for building a support team that improves Itto’s attack. The ideal version would be:

Shenhe’s skill boosts Attack or Elemental Power, depending on how you use it, while Yun Jin’s Burst boosts the party’s normal attack power – perfect when you’re gaining superlative Superforce stacks in as Itto. If you give Kuki Shinobu a full set of Tenacity of the Millelith, his skill buffs the party’s attack every time he deals damage.

Alternatives include pairing Itto with someone like Raiden Shogun, Xingqiu, or Xiangling, whose skills mean you never run out of Crystalize Reactions to generate shields. Adding an Anemo character such as Kazuha or Sucrose is also a good idea, as their skills help group enemies together, so Itto’s attacks hit more enemies at once.

Finally, since Itto’s burst lowers his defense, you might want to add a healer. Barbara is a great choice, although we prefer Diona if possible, as her skill also provides a strong shield.

Best Arataki Itto Weapons

On the surface, Redhorn Stonethresher is Itto’s best weapon. It automatically increases the wielder’s defense, which increases Itto’s charged attack power through his passive talents, and it scales charged attack damage with defense at an even higher rate.

However, unless you plan on spending a lot of money to get more than one – which we don’t recommend – then the craftable Whiteblind is actually a better option. The sword’s secondary stat increases the user’s defense, and launching a normal or charged attack increases both attack and defense. It stacks, so even at base level you can get a 24% buff to attack and defense. Refine it further, however, and you end up with a buff that’s better than Redhorn Stonethresher’s.

Weapon name Description in game
Redhorn Stone Beater DEF is increased by 28%. DMG from normal and charged attacks are increased by 40% of DEF.
blind On hit, normal or charged attacks increase ATK and DEF by 6% for 6s. Max 4 stacks (24% total). Can only occur once every 0.5s.

Best Arataki Itto Artifacts

There is no other better set of artifacts for Arataki Itto than the Pod of Opulent Dreams. A set of 4 pieces is recommended. For sub stats, go for DEF% Sands, Geo DMG% Goblet and Crit DMG or Crit RATE Circlet depending on your Crit Rate and Crit DMG Ratio.

Artifact name Description in game
Pod of Opulent Dreams
  • 2-Piece Effect: DEF +30%
  • 4-Piece Effect: A character equipped with this Artifact set will gain the Curiosity effect under the following conditions: While on the field, the character gains 1 charge after hitting an opponent with a Geo attack, triggering at most once every 0.3s. While off the field, the character gains 1 charge every 3 seconds. Curiosity can stack up to 4 times, each providing 6% DEF and a 6% bonus Geo DMG. When 6 seconds pass without gaining a Curiosity stack, 1 stack is lost.
